All the things mentioned in your books or the one you studied in your schools or colleges is conceptual knowledge.It includes all the facts, knowledges, experiments and concepts of each and every chapters in each subject. Now a question might arise in your mind that why is conceptual knowledge bad?
Well here I am not saying that conceptual knowledge is bad. Even it is the one which gives you the knowledge about how to execute a task.
But the knowledge we gained should be apply on something which we don't really do. Learning conceptual knowledge is good but only relying on conceptual knowledge is bad.
You yourself think that if the thing you understood and learnt is of use only when you use it in an experiment.
You will even get a better understanding through that experiment and could even discover your mistakes and work on them as early as possible.
So here my main motive is to aware you that conceptual knowledge is not fully good until you go through the one we are going to talk about next.
Practical Knowledge
Now here we are going to discuss the one which is followed by several successful people in the early life. They start working on this at their high school age only.Practical knowledge is the way to gain proper understanding and experience of the concept on which you performed the experiment.
Even doing experiments doesn't only mean practical knowledge. You can even check out various videos or information of these knowledge-based experiments held in history.
For example, in SST, you learn about globalization and rise of industrialization. Now you can even see the result and the difference between that time and today.
You can read about how computers and internet was invented or how English or dollar became a global language and currency respectively.
You too learn programming languages in your computer science subject. But it is all in vain if you haven't tried to make any useful program or web / app out of it. You can even use it for your business in future.
This way you'll gain a lot of experience and even discover various mistakes and correct them as you have started doing experiments at a very young age.
