You all already know the importance of doing exercises and workout. It helps in building strong muscles and hence a physically fit body.

But some of the people (mainly students) don't have any idea about the benefits of doing meditation.

This is what we are going to discuss in our today's article, that is, essential exercises to be followed by students for physical and mental stability.

Here my main motive is to add only the essential, easy-to-start and helpful exercises which will show you better results in some time.

So let us now begin with discussing the importance of doing meditation as well as exercises. After that we will move ahead to discuss these practices.
Introduction
So I want to start this intro with an question. Though the question won't be knowing the importance of doing exercises as most of you already knew it.

Here what I'm asking is the importance of mental stability or strength. Of course you know the importance of physical importance but not much you being a student have the idea of it.

Like the muscles and physical strength you built by doing exercises, the same way meditation increases your mental strength.

Now regarding the advantages of building mental strength, you can think of it as increasing focus and concentration, you'll be calm and relaxed and lastly you would have no stress and your learning capacity also increases.

These all advantages are very important for a student in their studies and mainly during their exams which are approaching soon.

So now let us start with the essential habits or exercises which every student should do on daily basis.
Pushups
Pushups This one is the exercise of whom most of you have already heard the name as it is the most famous yet the most effective exercise of all.

It is very simple and could be done without any equipment. Though doing it for the first time is surely not easy but after doing some hard work, you could easily do 20 pushups in a single set.

Now here all you have to do is just come in the position as you can see in the image and then push your body downwards and then again upwards without bending it.

It is very helpful to build strong muscles in your chest, shoulders, biceps and even your triceps.

Do give it a try on daily basis and try to do more research on the right posture of doing it. You can start with 3 pushups in the beginning and can extend it to 15 pushups per set and doing 3-4 sets.

After doing this constantly, I can assure you that you'll surely see some better results.
Squats
Squats Another important and very effective exercise mainly very beneficial for your legs. It too can be performed without the use of any equipment.

It is also very simple to be done and basically builds our legs muscles more strong and this exercise cover our whole legs within it only.

Now to start it, you simply need to come in the position given in this image and then move your body down and again up but without bending your legs.

You need to bend your body to the backward direction so that you don't need to bend your legs and thus this would make the strength of your leg muscle.

This exercise unlike pushups isn't very hard and could be done easily. You can start with 5-10 squats in the beginning and can extend it to 4 sets of 20 squats each.

By doing this exercise regularly, you can surely see the results in the building of your leg muscles.
Using Dumbbells
Dumbbell Workout This is another exercise which too is very important and it is the one which gives you the most fast results in short period of time.

All you need is the pair of that hand dumbbells weighing 3-4 kg. This will be enough to built the muscles and strength of your biceps, triceps, shoulders, chest and even back.

I know that you require a equipment in this case but this purchase is worth it to be bought. Even being very younger you can either skip this process or can find something heavy which can be used as an alternative for the dumbbells.

Meditation
Meditation The last in the list but the most important one as compared to all those we have discussed, the one to build our mental strength.

Most of the students don't have the magic it can do in anyone's life and that's why it is performed and advised by most of the successful people.

All you need is a cool and quite environment. Just sit down in a comfortable position with your back being upright. You can also go through the position given in this image.

All close your eyes and try to think nothing. Yes you heard that right! Don't just think anything. It's really a very hard task.

In the beginning you will find this very hard as when you'll try to think nothing, there will be more thoughts coming in your mind.

Try this constantly and you'll surely start seeing results. All you have to do is just think nothing and just focus between your two eyes while closing your eyes.

You will find this wasteful in the beginning but after some time you'll yourself get the results.

Feeling happy, calm and relaxed rather than full of stress and anxiety of your exams. You will find it easy to study and to learn anything. It also reduces your anger and makes your memory more strong. Try it out!
